"It Pays to Be a Tyrant" with GameStop and Kongregate

GameStop customers will receive a card in-store containing a unique code to enter in War Metal: Tyrant to play for the chance to win a $10,000 GameStop gift card. Players must reach levels five and 10 in order to receive entries in the grand prize drawing. PowerUp Rewards members who link their GameStop PowerUp Rewards and Kongregate.com accounts will receive PowerUp Rewards points and earn entry into the grand prize drawing by reaching certain levels in the game.

Level rewards:

• Play the game as a Kongregate user and PowerUp Rewards member: Receive 50 PowerUp points
• Reach level 2: Receive 100 PowerUp points
• Reach level 5: Receive 250 PowerUp points and one entry in the grand prize drawing
• Reach level 10: Receive 500 PowerUp points and a second entry in the grand prize drawing

PowerUp Rewards members that link their accounts with Kongregate will also receive a GameStop exclusive in-game Leonidas tank card, a powerful card for new players that makes initial progression in the game easier and helps to win more quickly in the Arena.

War Metal: Tyrant is an online collectible card game consisting of interactive battles where players are forced to defend against a massive onslaught from the brutal Raiders, vile bloodthirsty beasts and the mysterious Xenos. The levels include missions in which the player and the opposing commander alternate turns choosing cards to reduce the enemy commander's life to zero.
