Deadline Looms for NCTA's 21 Awards Nominations
RALEIGH, N.C. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - With only two weeks until the August 15 deadline, The
North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) is encouraging
companies from across the state to submit their nominations for this
year's NCTA 21 Awards. North Carolina's most prestigious
statewide technology awards program recognizes innovation, leadership
and excellence in four categories: Technology Industry, Excellence,
Stage of Development and Leadership. Within these categories, a total of
21 awards will be given for Most Innovative Technology, Green
Technology, Private and Public Technology Companies, Small Technology
Company and Education Leadership, just to name a few. The awards program
is open to both NCTA members and non-members, and winners will be
recognized at the annual awards gala, presented in conjunction with

Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, N.C. Last year's event
drew record-breaking attendance of more than 800 technology executives

"At the core of NCTA's mission is bringing together technology leaders
in our state and ensuring that North Carolina is seen as a technology

CEO. "The NCTA 21 Awards is the only statewide awards program
that provides an opportunity for companies of varying sizes and at
different stages of business to be recognized for their excellence in a
diverse group of categories. Each year, we are pleased to see both
well-known and emerging companies honored for their role in making North
Carolina number one in technology, and we expect this year to be no
different."
As part of the Leadership category, NCTA will once again recognize a
"Technology Executive of the Year" and will honor one individual with
the Outstanding Achievement Award. Nominees for Tech Exec of the Year
will be announced soon and the winner will be selected by popular vote
through NCTA's web site. To view the full list of awards and nominate a
