Lightwave Logic Strengthens Management Team with the Hiring of Charles Olson as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

NEWARK, Del., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightwave Logic, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: LWLG), a technology company focused on the development of a Next Generation Non Linear Optical Polymer Materials Platform for applications in high speed fiber-optic data communications and optical computing, announced today that it has hired Charles (Chuck) Olson as Vice President of Sales and Marketing effective August 1, 2011.

Mr. Olson has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the Microelectronics/Semiconductor industries, of which 15+ years were based in Silicon Valley. He was formerly the President and CEO of Gigamax Technologies, a Test and Measurement company focused on signal integrity measurements of high speed serial data communication devices. Prior to Gigamax, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CrossFire Technologies a semiconductor technology startup company in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and CEO of Inbox Software in Sunnyvale, California, a software startup. He also previously held the positions of VP Sales and Marketing and General Manager at both Aspec Technology and Zycad Corporation.
