CH2M HILL Completes Acquisition of Booz Allen Hamilton's State & Local Government Transit Consulting Business

CH2M HILL (www.ch2mhill.com), a global full-service consulting, design, construction, and operations firm, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Booz Allen Hamilton's State & Local Government Transit Consulting (S&L Transit) business.

Booz Allen Hamilton has been providing consulting services to transportation clients since 1915 and is a nationally recognized service provider to transit and rail agencies, providing management consulting, system engineering, rolling stock consulting, asset management, train control and communications systems, system safety, and revenue system consulting throughout North America.

Comprised of 150+ employees, the S&L Transit business accounted for approximately $50 million in annual revenue at Booz Allen Hamilton during its FY10. Substantially all of the S&L Transit employees have accepted offers of employment with CH2M HILL, and the company's expanded Transit and Rail group is excited to meet the current and future needs of Booz Allen Hamilton's state and local clients.
