Tutor Perini Corporation Announces Bid Results and New Contracts Totaling $395 Million

SYLMAR, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) a leading civil and building construction company, today announced that it has received the following new contracts totaling $395 million.

SR1/I-95 Interchange

Tutor Perini, working with its subsidiary Cherry Hill Construction, has been awarded by the Delaware Department of Transportation an $86 million contract for improvements to the SR1/I-95 Interchange in New Castle County, Del.

This project consists of the construction of a new, multiple-lane interchange that is aimed at reducing traffic congestion at the SR-1/ I-95 interchange. The construction of eight bridges will be part of this project.

Physical construction operations are scheduled to begin in September 2011 and be completed in September 2013.

Philadelphia Family Court

Tutor Perini, working with its subsidiary Keating Building Company, has been awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services a $76 million contract for the construction of Philadelphia Family Court of the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.

The courthouse will be constructed in downtown Philadelphia and will consist of fourteen floors occupied above grade, three subterranean parking levels, and one penthouse level. The project, which has a total above grade area of approximately 509,000 square feet, is targeted to achieve LEED Silver certification upon completion.

Physical construction operations began in May 2011 and be completed in February 2014.

I-95/I-695 Interchange

Tutor Perini, working with its subsidiary Cherry Hill Construction, has been awarded by the Maryland Transportation Authority the I-95/I-695 Interchange Contract 2 for $54 million in Baltimore, Md.

The project consists of constructing new managed electronic toll lanes from north of the Hazelwood Avenue overpass through the I-695 to south of the King Avenue overpass. Included in this project is the construction of two new bridges and advanced pier foundations for future ramps.

Physical construction operations are scheduled to begin on August 15, 2011 and be completed by mid-August 2013.

STH 21 Interchange

Tutor Perini, working with its subsidiary Lunda Construction, has been awarded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation the STH 21 Interchange contract for $54 million near Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

The project consists of constructing nine bridges, four retaining walls, grading and pavement. Included in this project is the construction of twin six span structures to carry USH 41 over Lake Butte des Morts.

Physical construction operations are scheduled to begin in August 2011 and be completed by July 2013.

Arbor Residence Hall at Mississippi State University

Tutor Perini, working with its subsidiary Anderson Companies, has been awarded by Mississippi State University a $40 million contract for the construction of Arbor Residence Hall.

The project consists of constructing two, four-story residence halls that will house approximately 760 students.

Physical construction operations are scheduled to begin in July 2011 and be completed by July 2012.

Additional Projects

In addition to the contracts noted above, the Company has recently been awarded a highway project in New York and two building projects in California and Mississippi totaling $85 million.
