Chemex Bids to Banish Canadian Bacteria, Through Specialist Cleaning and Hygiene Products Franchise Operation Expansion

Europe's leading distributor of specialist cleaning and hygiene products has launched its expanding franchise operation in Canada with a target of $25 million in sales over the next 5 years.

Announcing the drive into Canada, Michael Graham, managing director of Chemex, said, "Negotiations for the licence rights were concluded in 2010. I am now delighted to be able to confirm that new franchise and distribution network has been established - with a target of $25 million sales in the next 5 years. Our branded vehicles can now be seen on the roads of Saskatchewan and Ontario."

The move by Chemex into Canada is part of a wider series of initiatives by the company to take a quantum leap in the drive to increase the number of franchises and overall sales. These include trials of revolutionary techniques to eliminate harmful bacteria and the establishment of a new telemarketing team.

Over the last six months, Chemex has recruited over 90 new end user clients per month in the U.K. alone. Graham attributes much of this success to the technical superiority of the Chemex product range, the training given and the knowledge and customer - centred approach of its franchisees.
