Powerhouse Vocalist Lenny Harold Debuts New Video for His Single 'It's Not OK'

Powerhouse vocalist Lenny Harold has coined the term "hybrid soul" to describe his fresh, eclectic musical blend. His particular sound was influenced by Prince, Brandy, Bilal, and Marsha Ambrosius. The New Jersey native is truly captivating and for those fans of real R&B, Lenny is bringing it back!
Formerly known as "Chanj," Lenny was the final winner of the legendary Amateur Night segment on the Apollo Theater's television show, 'Showtime At The Apollo." He also performed for the Apollo Theatre's 75th Anniversary Gala. Lenny toured from North America to Switzerland, has been a musical guest for various political events, has had the honor of receiving the Key to the City of Newark, New Jersey, and has performed numerous times at Highline Ballroom in New York City. Now with a new direction and a new name, Lenny is ready to move full speed ahead with his new music.
"It's Not OK" is the first single from Lenny's newest album, "The Journal of Wonders: Tale of the Phoenix in the Moon Labyrinth." The striking black & white video is an ode to a relationship that is over, but still on the mind and in the heart. Lenny's suave looks and expressive singing highlight his ability to move and entertain, both vocally and visually. The video for the song, directed by Forrest Renaissance, has dramatic elements and a clever plot line, with an unexpected twist at the end. Lenny's new album was released in March of 2011 and his new sound experience will definitely cement his place in the industry.
