Curated for Today's Modern Family: Montage Deer Valley Taps NY Designer Philip Gorrivan & Alison Pincus of One Kings Lane to Design One-of-a-Kind Mountain Residence

Coming in October 2011, Montage Deer Valley will unveil a mountain home designed in collaboration with acclaimed designer Philip Gorrivan and One Kings Lane, the leading online destination for curated home furnishings and décor. This unique home design collaboration features comfortable, contemporary living year-round atop a luxury resort on the ski slopes in Deer Valley.

The innovative showcase home is a 3,471-square-foot two-story residence at Montage Deer Valley, the newest hotel and private residential creation in the Montage collection that opened December 2010.

"We sought out Philip Gorrivan and Alison Pincus, two of the top names in design with great appeal to modern families, to create the ultimate comfortable living space at North America's newest mountain resort," said Ashley Mohan, Vice President, Ohana Real Estate Investors, the firm with a majority ownership interest in Montage Deer Valley.

"Their inventive interiors will show how a gracious mountain home can easily accommodate the most active and informal of lifestyles in harmony with striking design elements. For the first time, One Kings Lane has designed a space from floor to ceiling, and will be selling items included in the exclusive Montage Deer Valley residence online in October 2011.

Working his magic in the two-story residence with Pincus will be New York-based designer Philip Gorrivan, who is celebrated for his skill in interpreting classic spaces with unexpected style.

"It's an honor and great fun to envision a modern home for an active extended family in such a spectacular setting," said Gorrivan, who grew up in Maine and now lives with his family in Manhattan.

"As the father of two school-age children, I know how effective home design can help to balance busy lives filled with work, school, vacation and social schedules, especially when you're dividing your time between multiple places. I also tell my clients that it's important to live with things that you love -- parents should let their children experience and come to appreciate fine pieces from an early age. This alpine Montage home will be an exciting example of modern livability in action."

The home includes a great room, dining room, den, gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and three private balconies. Residents will enjoy residential concierge services and have access to all resort amenities, including spa services and ski-in, ski-out access to Deer Valley ski trails.

More details on the Montage Deer Valley Mountain Pop-Up Home, including scheduling private showings for the public, will be available in September.
