Malibu Family Wines Hosts Family-Friendly Grape Crush & Harvest Festival for City Hearts Sept. 25

Food & Wine Event With a Green Heart... and Purple Feet

Los Angeles-based City Hearts: Kids Say Yes to the Arts announced today that the 11th Annual Malibu Family Wines Grape Crush & Harvest Festival "Go Green for the Arts," benefiting City Hearts will be held Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the spectacular, private Saddlerock Ranch at 31727 Mulholland Highway in Malibu. Visitors can only experience Saddlerock by attending a wedding, or one of three annual events including this one.

"Glee" star Max Adler, National Chairperson Jane Seymour, and other celebrities (to be announced) are to attend; MTV's Nic Harcourt will emcee and Indie Pop Singer Inara George will perform. With the eco-friendly theme of "Go Green for the Arts," the event will feature barefoot grape crush, spa foot baths, celebrity art, silent auction, top chefs, short "green" films by Facebook winners, and fun crafts such as The Big Draw LA sketchbook project.

Guests will savor unlimited samplings of signature dishes from more than 20 local gourmet restaurants including Sam's by the Beach, Padri's Ristorante and Don's Ice Cream; as well as Malibu Family Wines' heralded Semler Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Rose, and Saddlerock wines.

Tickets are $85 for adults; $35 for children (age 5-20); $125 for VIP Tickets; $195 for the Family Pack (2 adults and 2 children), and are expected to sell out. On-site parking is included.
