Safe Health Apps Suite Helps Manage Health

By

Health Discovery Corporation, a molecular diagnostics company that uses patent protected advanced mathematical techniques for personalized medicine, introduces Safe Health App Suite for the rapidly growing smart phone and tablet markets, leading with iPhone and Android mobile users.

The Safe Health Apps Suite is designed to increase awareness of users and aid them how they can self-assess important health issues. The apps are expected to be released as early as third quarter of this year. The Safe Health Apps are on the heels after the company's successful global release of MelApp, an app that promotes early detection against the world's fastest growing cancer, Melanoma.

"The early global adoption of MelApp illustrates the point that consumers desperately want tools to empower them to take an active role in managing their health," says Stephen D. Barnhill, M.D., Chairman and CEO of Health Discovery Corporation. "We are incredibly optimistic about our ability to package up segments of our patented technology into powerful, dynamic mobile applications that are redefining our culture, nationally and globally."

The Safe Health App Suite will provide information and encourages early detection across multiple health issues. Health Discovery Corporation believes that a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment is best provided by board certified physicians.

Each Safe Health app will leverage GPS technology to identify an opt-in physician referral network that matches app users with healthcare providers in their area. This creates an additional revenue channel for Health Discovery Corporation and a referral-based channel for physicians and is seen as a reciprocal business strategy.

"We are creating more than just a suite of mobile applications that encourage consumers to participate in their self-health awareness," says Herbert A Fritshe, Ph.D., Chief Science Officer for Health Discovery Corp. and retired Professor of Laboratory Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center. "We are offering the physician community a simple and affordable referral-based model that can drive substantial traffic into their offices in what we call an 'app to office' platform."
