TicketNetwork Advisory - Battle of the Keiths: Keith Urban vs. Toby Keith

Country superstars Toby Keith and Keith Urban are on tour this summer. The two country heavyweights began their tours in June, and both will end their runs in mid-October. Each artist is currently promoting his latest hit single; Urban released "Without You" on February 7 and Keith released "Somewhere Else" on February 28.

Among the two, the Keith Urban tour is the concert series with a greater demand for tickets, according to the latest data from the TicketNetwork exchange*, selling about 69% more tickets than the Toby Keith tour. The difference is also seen in the average ticket price for each, with the current overall price for Keith's tour at $128 and the overall price for Urban's tour at $169.

Some Toby Keith shows have lower average prices tickets than those for Keith Urban. For example, three cities hosting Keith's concerts currently have average prices below $100: Mount Pleasant, MI; Virginia Beach, VA; and Charlotte, NC, with prices of $86, $93 and $99 respectively.
