Country Artist Lisa Matassa to Embark on West Coast Radio Tour for Her Debut Country EP, "Me Time"

Plainview, NY, July 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Lisa Matassa is the first country music recording artist to emerge from Long Island, New York with her much buzzed about debut country music EP, "Me Time." "Me Time," a hybrid of country and rock n' roll sounds featuring A-List musical collaborations, has already been added into the reported playlists of more than a dozen country format radio stations throughout the U.S., including New York, North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia, New Hampshire, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, Alabama, Missouri, Nebraska, Vermont, Louisiana, Washington, Kentucky, and Texas radio markets.

Building on current momentum, Lisa Matassa will embark on a west coast radio promotional tour for "Me Time" that will include three country format radio stations in California, including:

KSNI Sunny Country 102.5 FM in Santa Maria, CA
KRAZy Country 105.9 FM in Solvang, CA
KKJG Today's Best Country 98.1 FM in San Luis Obispo, CA

Matassa will appear at the above three radio stations on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 and will be available for additional media interviews with California print, television, online and radio media appearances.

About Lisa Matassa
At age 19, Lisa Matassa snagged a recording contract under the stage name “Lysa Lynn,” with the independent label Emergency Records which specialized in producing 1980s dance-pop sensations like recording artist Shannon's dance anthem, “Let The Music Play.” Lisa, herself, enjoyed some early notoriety with two singles, 1987's “I've Got the Hots For You” and 1988's “Rock Me Baby.” Both singles got national and international airplay and reached the Top 10 on the Dance Music Charts. During this time, Matassa performed numerous shows alongside artists of the day, like Taylor Dayne, Brenda K. Starr, Judy Torres, and TKA.

Lisa eventually put her music career on hold to become a wife and mother of two on New York's Long Island. Now at 40-something and with stunning good looks, Lisa is conquering the music scene once again with her own unique style that she lovingly calls, "Long Island Country."
