Rutgers University Online Mini-MBA Program Offers Social Media Marketing Course

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Rutgers Center for Management Development (CMD) today announced that it is offering an Online Mini-MBA: Social Media Marketing Program starting September 26 and running through November 28. The 10-week online faculty-led program includes videos, faculty-evaluated exercises, section quizzes, plus a final project and exam. Additionally, faculty members will host live weekly "Virtual Office Hours" throughout the program to provide feedback on assignments and answer student questions.

This online course is designed for executives and teams of professionals working in marketing, advertising, branding, communications and sales. It is also appropriate for individuals seeking to employ social media to further their business careers. CMD is offering a three credit course waiver towards an MBA for those interested in graduate credit.

"This was a very popular course when we offered it for the first time earlier in the year," says Eric Greenberg, Director, Marketing Programs, CMD, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. "Social media platforms are a component of all marketing programs these days. This course teaches professionals how to leverage all the popular social media vehicles, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube."

The cost of the Online Mini-MBA: Social Media Marketing Program is $3,500, which includes all instructional materials and fees. The 10-week program will be held from September 26 to November 28, 2011.
