Oct. 20-21: The Sedona Conference Accepting Applications for Invitation-Only 13th Annual Antitrust Law & Litigation Conference, Del Mar, Calif.
This year's conference will focus on the spread of U.S. antitrust laws to the European Union and beyond, and examine how the U.S. and E.U. often treat the same conduct differently, and allow for different enforcement mechanisms and procedures. The underlying thread, as the dialogue moves from subject to subject, is how the political underpinnings of antitrust enforcement influence the antitrust laws and enforcement activities within different countries.
Important topics to be covered during this years invitation-only program include:
- Global Case Law Update
- Merger Enforcement
- Abuse of Dominance
- Vertical Conduct
- Cartels
- Private Damage Actions in the E.U.
- The Future of Global Antitrust Enforcement
The international, blue-ribbon faculty will be chaired by Daniel R. Shulman of Gray Plant Mooty and includes Christian Ahlborn of Linklaters; Joseph M. Alioto of the Alioto Law Firm; Donald I. Baker of Baker & Miller PLLC; Howard Bergman of the University of Minnesota Law School; Kathleen E.
