Comcast Brings Access to Copa America Games on Xfinity On Demand and XfinityTV.com

PHILADELPHIA, July 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast announced today that it is bringing Xfinity digital customers access to Copa America footage on Xfinity On Demand and XfinityTV.com for free. The soccer tournament is one of the most highly anticipated sporting events among U.S. Hispanics.

To ensure they never miss a minute of action, customers will be able to access all games in their entirety on Xfinity On Demand in HD and SD, as well online through XfinityTV.com, the day after they air live. Xfinity digital customers will also have full access to live Copa America action, including TV coverage and news of all games in both HD and SD, through Univision and Telefutura.

"Whether they're cheering for their favorites from Brazil, Argentina or Colombia, soccer fans won't have to worry about missing a moment of the 43rd Copa America games," said Roberto Perez, Director Hispanic Marketing, Comcast. "Our On Demand offering provides a complete experience so fans can enjoy every moment of the tournament whenever and wherever they want to see it, for free."

Copa America coverage is available now on Xfinity On Demand and XfinityTV.com and runs through July 24, and features teams from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Japan, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
