Lady Gaga Wants to Explore Hinduism
Hindus have welcomed American pop star Lady Gaga's reported interest in Hinduism and reincarnation.
"I actually find that a lot of my philosophies about art are mirrored in the Hindu religion. The idea of reincarnation." - Lady Gaga
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed said as Lady Gaga will explore Hinduism further, she would appreciate more the diverse and long tradition of Hindu philosophy.
Zed said that if Gaga needs any help in deeper Hinduism exploration, he would be glad to assist.
Rajan Zed recommended that Lady Gaga should realized the Self. Ancient Hindu scripture Katha Upanishad wrote that when wise realize the Self, they go beyond sorrow. Self is supreme and those who meditate on Self are freed from the cycle of birth and death.
Lady Gaga was raised as Roman Catholic. She has won five Grammys and her album "Born This Way" sold one million copies in five days on iTunes.
