Experts in Cyber Security Present Strategies to Ensure Critical Infrastructures Remain Safe From Advanced Persistent Cyber Threats

WHAT:
Narus, Inc., the leader in dynamic network traffic intelligence and analytics and a Gold Partner in ArcSight's Technology Alliance Program, will co-host a Webinar this week with ArcSight, an HP company. The Webinar, entitled "Detecting and Mitigating Advanced Persistent Threats in the Fast-Moving Cyber World," will be led by an esteemed panel of cyber security professionals from Narus, ArcSight and The Boeing Company. It will present best practices and valuable insight to help attendees better respond to today's cyber threats.

Among today's sophisticated cyber espionage techniques, advanced persistent threats are certainly some of the most insidious, as seen in recent cyber attacks on major defense contractors and government organizations. With an inherent ability to go undetected for long periods of time, these threats -- which include botnets, malware, worms and viruses -- pose serious risk to an organization, ultimately compromising sensitive data and intellectual property.

This Webinar will present best practices and expert insight to help attendees quickly respond to advanced persistent threats. Attendees will also hear how other organizations are using a joint solution from Narus and ArcSight that enhances network security, improves operational efficiency and provides "situational awareness" using a unified dashboard.

Neil Harrington, Director, Product Management, Narus
Narayan Makaram, Senior Product Marketing Manager, ArcSight
