Hindu Statesman Zed Visits Utah Ganesha Temple
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who delivered invocations at four city councils of Utah from 5th-7th of July, visited Sri Ganesha Hindu Temple of Utah (SGHTU) in South Jordan on 7th of July.
Rajan Zed was welcomed at the Temple by its President Chaitanya A. Achan, who presented him with temple souvenirs. Temple priest N. S. Satish Kumar performed a blessing ritual.
Mission of SGHTU, whose history dates back to 1993, includes to "pursue Hindu ideals of tradition and culture." Besides Ganesha, it includes shrines of Durga, Shiva, Shiva Linga, Balaji Venkateshwara, Navagrahas, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Hanuman, Krishna, Murugan, Dattatreya, Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Andal-Bhudevi, Nataraja, Sivakami-Uma, and Naga Devatha.
