Essex Angel Capital Inc. Announces Filing of Filing Statement

Essex Angel Capital Inc. (TSX VENTURE: EXC.P) (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSX-V") has accepted for filing its filing statement (the "Filing Statement") and has provided conditional approval of the Corporation's Qualifying Transaction (as such term is defined in policy 2.4 of the TSX-V). Further information regarding the Qualifying Transaction is available in the Filing Statement, which is now available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com. Closing of the Qualifying Transaction is expected to occur on Friday, July 15, 2011. The closing of the Qualifying Transaction remains subject to final approval from the TSX-V.
