AEBN First to Offer Adult Videos Streamed to Television Sets via PlayStation®3 And Blu-ray Players
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - AEBN, the leading provider of adult video-on-demand, has
introduced the first product from an adult company that streams
high-quality videos to televisions from internet-connected PlayStation
3 and Blu-ray
players.
"This is a huge breakthrough for viewers and content producers," says Jerry
Anders, Vice President of AEBN. "Migrating online content from the
computer screen onto the TV screen is definitely where the video
industry is heading, with over 80 million connected Blu-ray devices
today and predictions that the number of homes with access to premium
broadband video content via Blu-ray players and connected TVs will more
than double in the next few years."
Mr. Anders said its customers will get a BD-Live disc that will
let them add the new features. Several hundred adult movies, both gay
and straight, are available for the initial launch with more being added
regularly, he said. Customers can rent both movies and scenes from the
interface, and browse through content based on genres, movies, stars and
studios, as well as view trailers. Both high definition and standard
definition content is available. Pricing begins at $1.99 per scene and
$4.95 per film.
