Red Star Capital Ventures Inc. Announces Completion of Initial Public Offering

Red Star Capital Ventures Inc. ("Red Star") is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed its initial public offering, with Raymond James Ltd. acting as agent, of 2,500,000 common shares at a price of $0.10 (CDN$) per share for aggregate gross proceeds of $250,000 (CDN$). Red Star has received conditional listing approval for its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange and expects that trading will commence July 8, 2011 under the symbol "RSM.P".

Red Star is a capital pool company governed by the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. Red Star's principal business is the identification and evaluation of assets or businesses with a view to completing a Qualifying Transaction.
