Smithers Pharma Services Promotes Prasad Raje to President

Dr. Raje joined the Smithers organization in October of 2009, and has served as Executive Vice President of Smithers Viscient since February of 2011. In addition to his duties with Smithers Viscient, he also had operational responsibility for Smithers Pharma Services. Dr. Raje's background includes expertise in drug discovery and organic process research & development leading to commercialization of APIs, as well as conducting due diligence, acquisitions, and integration of businesses. Prior to commencing his career at Smithers, he held leadership roles at Abbott Laboratories and at AMRI, where he was responsible for globally managing the R&D labs and manufacturing facilities.
