Verantis Announces Award to Supply an Emission Control System for a Major US Medical Supplier

Verantis Corporation, a global provider of turnkey environmental and process solutions for industrial plants, announced it has received a major project award to supply an emission control system for a large scale sterilization process. A major supplier of medical devices in the U.S. has expanded their operations and required a system for high-efficiency control of ethylene oxide emissions from the on-site sterilization chambers. Our system is also capable of handling emergency releases from the sterilant storage area. Verantis will provide a complete engineered absorption system including the reaction vessel, all instrumentation, and by-product storage. One key feature of our design solution is the ability of the system to remove and convert the excess sterilant vapor to a saleable by-product thereby eliminating the requirement for waste disposal and providing extra income on what had previously been discarded.

"Verantis is pleased to be able to offer custom tailored solutions that not only control emissions issues but also offer alternative methods for product recovery," said Lars Buttkus, President of Verantis.

Headquartered in the United States, Verantis Corporation is a global leader in engineering services and environmental systems that focus on process improvement in a wide range of basic industrial and high technology processes. The company is dedicated to offering cost-effective solutions by combining technically advanced products into high performance systems for clients around the world. Verantis has established additional engineering and design centers in China, Singapore, and India. This press release and additional information about Verantis are available on the company's website at www.verantis.com.
