RealNetworks "SuperPass" VIP Online Video Service Goes Mobile and More Social With Season Premiere of the CBS Reality Series BIG BROTHER on Thursday, July 7

SEATTLE, July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- RealNetworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: RNWK) announced today the launch of the SuperPass online video service for the new season of the CBS reality show BIG BROTHER. Following the premiere episode of the new season of BIG BROTHER on July 7, registered fans on the SuperPass subscription service will have access to exclusive live streaming video from the BIG BROTHER house -and for the first time, access to live feeds and programming on smartphones and tablets.*

For the past 11 seasons, SuperPass has given subscribers exclusive access to live, unedited and uncut content - including full access to Big Brother - footage of extended dramatic moments, commentary, live events featuring current and former house members and exclusive surveillance-cam footage from the house.** This season SuperPass is going mobile for BIG BROTHER fans on the go.

The new BIG BROTHER mobile app will be available for download on any Android-powered mobile device through the Android Market. The mobile app supports Android 2.2+.

At the same time SuperPass continues to increase the interactive and social-viewing opportunities for BIG BROTHER fans to engage during the season. "Through our partnership with ClipSync, a leader in social TV, we are increasing the depth and complexity of fan interaction throughout our service - enabling new ways for our customers to interact with the show, personalities and one another," added McMurray. In addition to exclusive access to live streaming video from inside the BIG BROTHER house and access to hours of new content over the 10-week season, subscribing fans will be able to participate in community viewing and conversation, audience voting, content sharing, trivia, tweets, games and access cast bios and photos.

Fans can subscribe to SuperPass from RealNetworks at www.real.com/bigbrother. A monthly subscription to SuperPass is $14.99. The mobile service is an optional add-on for $5/month or $10/3-months.
