Nation's Fastest Growing Weight Loss and Wellness Franchise Will Have 30 Clinics in Southern Florida

DAVIE, FL -- July 6, 2011 -- Dr. G's Weight Loss and Wellness today announced the sell-out of its South Florida territory in less than one year. Now, the Davie-based company is setting its sights on four new markets: Central Florida, Atlanta, Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston, Texas.

"We recently completed our regional sales program with 30 Dr. G's Weight Loss and Wellness clinics in Southern Florida," said Charlotte Russell, Chief Development Officer, Dr. G's Franchising Companies. "Approximately 20 clinics will be fully operational by year-end."

Russell said the company's business success reflects the growing national concern with obesity as a chronic health problem, raising the risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and stroke, and certain forms of cancer.

"Today, nearly two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese, pointing to the increased need for effective programs like Dr. G's Weight Loss & Wellness clinics," said Russell.
