Leverages Paciolan System to Achieve Success With Season Ticket Renewals

Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that Stanford University has renewed its partnership with the company. Working with Paciolan since 1982, Stanford University will continue implementing Paciolan's comprehensive ticketing system, including digital ticketing services for fans and donors, as well as the company's marketing solutions.

"The number one reason why we decided to renew with Paciolan is the incredible customer service we consistently receive," said Richard Muschell, assistant athletic director for Stanford University. "Being able to collaborate with Paciolan, including working side-by-side with our client partner, enables us to implement strategic initiatives and creative solutions that help us achieve our goals."

Leveraging Paciolan's ticketing technology, Stanford University has translated their success on the field into new online ticket sales. Stanford leveraged their exceptional football season in 2010, including a victory in the Orange Bowl, to sell more than 2,000 new season tickets this year. Stanford is also one of the leaders in the PAC 12 with their online renewal process, which resulted in 62 percent of their season ticket holders renewing online in 2010. By offering more online services, Stanford fans are also able to purchase tickets online and print them at home, manage their account, or transfer tickets online. More than 65 percent of Stanford's single tickets are sold online -- a true testament to the power and popularity of their online services.

"Paciolan really helped us improve our season ticket renewal process and enhance the online experience," continued Muschell. "The online renewal and account management process is now more intuitive for our season ticket holders, and provides them a great experience and elevated services."

In addition to its season ticket renewal success, Stanford's outbound sales group has been effective at selling tickets. Specifically focused on mini-plans and season tickets sales, the group has already sold more than 800 season packages for the upcoming season gaining tremendous momentum for the program.

"We're proud of the success of our outbound sales program and look forward to complementing those efforts with future technology initiatives," continued Muschell. "In example, we previewed Paciolan's CRM system and are excited about the company's vision to support college athletics organizations and help them effectively manage their sales campaigns."

"By leveraging our industry-leading ticketing and marketing solutions, Stanford University continues to achieve great success with its athletics initiatives," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We're honored to be working with them for almost 30 years and look forward to partnering with them to achieve even more success in the future."
