Winncom Partner, Wavion, Releases the WBSn, the World's First Beamforming 802.11n Outdoor Wi-Fi System

Winncom Technologies, Value-Added Distributor of wireless broadband networking equipment and accessories, today announced that one of its partners, Wavion Wireless Networks, has released the WBSn, the world's first Wi-Fi system to deliver Gigabit capacity and outdoor speeds of 450 Mbps.

The WBSn product family was designed specifically for mobile operators that need to offload mobile data traffic from their congested networks, and for service providers that target challenging metro and campus environments. It combines spatially adaptive two-way Beamforming technology, the 802.11n standard, and the latest 3x3:3 Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology with three spatial data streams, delivering the highest range and capacity of any outdoor Wi-Fi system on the market today.
