Malcolm Hollensteiner Named Director of Retail Lending Sales for TD Bank

CHERRY HILL, N.J., and PORTLAND, Maine, July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, recently appointed Malcolm Hollensteiner, Director, Retail Lending Sales, for its consumer lending business. Hollensteiner will direct the bank's residential mortgage sales production, which has more than doubled over the past two years, and the consumer and credit card sales team. To support the growth in its mortgage business, TD Bank is also set to hire approximately 100 residential mortgage specialists from Maine to Florida.

Hollensteiner joins TD Bank with more than 19 years of experience in the residential mortgage sales management sector. Since 2009, he was the mid-Atlantic regional manager for PNC mortgage. Hollensteiner began his career as a loan officer with First Washington Mortgage, reaching top producer status in the Washington, D.C. region. From there, he spent 10 years with National City Mortgage, overseeing sales and operations activities in the district. He holds a Certified Mortgage Banker designation, and is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association's School of Mortgage Banking program and from Harvard University where he earned a bachelor's degree.
