Seattle-based design consultancy Teague today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Signce, a Munich-based design firm specializing in product development and brand strategy for the consumer industry. This acquisition extends Teague's leadership into the European market.

"We're excited to welcome Signce's partners, clients and employees into the Teague family," said John Barratt, Teague president and CEO. "The acquisition of Signce is the first step in fulfilling Teague's mission to build a global practice relevant to today's demands. Teague has a long history of business evolution, the addition of Signce supports Teague's commitment to both growth and progression."

Signce's services will be integrated with Teague's to provide a more comprehensive design offer. The acquisition also grows Teague's well-established offer with Signce's expertise in research and strategy, interaction design and product development.

With the extension to Europe, Teague is now positioned to work more closely with globally based clients. "We're committed to truly collaborative relationships," said Barratt. "Proximity is key; at the heart of Europe, Munich is the ideal location."
