NorthRoad Capital Management to Manage Open-End Mutual Fund

NorthRoad International (NRIEX) Will Offer Individual Investors Access to the Group's Long-Standing Institutional Large-Cap Investment Discipline

NorthRoad Capital Management LLC (NorthRoad), an affiliate of Madison Investment Advisors, LLC, has been selected to manage a no-load, open-end international fund, NorthRoad International Fund (NRIEX). NorthRoad International will be part of the Madison Mosaic family of funds.

NorthRoad has been managing international portfolios for institutional clients since 2002, using a bottom-up, fundamental approach to select a concentrated portfolio of high-quality, attractively valued, large-cap businesses based primarily in the developed markets.

The NorthRoad investment management team brings extensive international experience to the fund's management. Each member of the team has spent more than a decade contributing to concentrated and international and global equity portfolios. The fund is team managed under the following senior portfolio managers: Charles Saunders, who has been with NorthRoad since 2005 and was previously Senior Portfolio Manager of international equities with the State of Wisconsin Investment Board; James Shore, a founding partner of NorthRoad in 2002, previously a Portfolio Manager at Lazard Asset Management; and Raymond Vars, a founding partner of NorthRoad in 2002 who was previously a Portfolio Manager at Lazard Asset Management.

The fund is offered in a single no-load class, with initial total expenses of 1.15%. "We're excited to be managing an open-end fund," said NorthRoad International Manager Jim Shore who along with Ray Vars and Chuck Saunders has focused on separate accounts since NorthRoad's inception. "It gives us a showcase for our long-held investment discipline, and it allows a wide range of investors to tap into our risk-conscious approach to international investing."
