Police said Raymond 'CI Joe' Velasquez, 34, climbed the 20-foot pole to a flat platform and danced and rapped for the gathering crowd while officers tried to convince him to come down, the New York Post reported Wednesday." UPI
Velasquez is a selfish moron who put his career ambitions ahead of public safety, and indeed his own safety. The wannabe rapper tied up traffic for a couple of hours, and cost the city thousands in police man hours.
The clown may have elevated himself in a literal sense, but in a metaphorical sense he lowered himself to the gutter with this foolish stunt.
Velasquez stunt won't propel his career as a rap artist, but he did manage to get a rap sheet for disorderly conduct, obstruction and trespassing.
If this joker spends any time in jail, I hope his fellow jailbirds will rap him upside his head.
