Field & Stream Fishing Launches New iOS Release
AUSTIN, Texas - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Super Happy Fun Fun, Inc., the developer and publisher of the smash hit
iPhone version of Big Buck Hunter Pro , today announced
its version 2.0 release of Field & Stream Fishing for Apple
iOS devices, and that it is now available for free through the iPhone
App Store.
Field & Stream Fishing is an exciting, arcade game that
breaks the mold of existing slower-paced fishing titles with a focus on
fast-paced angling action. Its flick motion casting and wily fish
population give every player a chance to hone their skills and haul in
the big ones.
This latest update gives fans of Field & Stream Fishing several
major upgrades to the popular game including Apple Game Center support,
beautiful high resolution fish, backgrounds and menus for Retina
displays and purchasable lures. It will also include an exciting new
lake to fish - Robber's Cave, Oklahoma. Robber's Cave comes with new
fish, additional quests and achievements that will keep fishing fans
busy for hours.
Rich social networking features have been built in that let players post
their achievements to Facebook and global leaderboards. Players can also
be notified of how well their friends are fishing the very same spot.
"It is fun to tell a fish story, but it's more fun if you can prove it
in real time," said Mark Stephen Pierce, CEO of Super Happy Fun, Fun,
Inc. "With version 2.0, players have many more reasons to light up the
leaderboards with bragging rights on every monster catch."
Field & Stream Fishing, in partnership with Bonnier
Corporation, was originally released with fifteen fishing spots across
three famous fishing locations - Whitebear Lake, Minnesota, Lake
Amistad, Texas and Kanai River, Alaska. The game now includes Torch
Lake, Michigan, Lake New Melones, California and Robber's Cave, Oklahoma
available as downloadable content.
"We've been steadily adding exciting new content to the game for almost
a year now," continued Mark Stephen Pierce. "We feel that the game has
now gotten big enough that we can afford to give some of it away for
free. We want people to come back and we want them to tell their
friends."
