Introducing Zacuto's EVF Filmmaker Kit

Now that Zacuto's long awaited EVF has hit the market, the next step is to develop a few camera rigs to compliment the wildly popular camera accessory. The EVF Filmmaker Kit combines new parts like the Zacuto Zwiss Plate with old parts like the Universal Baseplate to form a camera rig with all the features a shooter could possibly need while shooting with cameras like the AG-AF100, Sony F3 and FS100.

The Universal Baseplate mounts to any camera including the Panasonic AF-100, Sony F3, Sony FS100, RED ONE, HVX200 or any other camera of this size. While the EVF Filmmaker Kit is designed to work with the Zacuto EVF, it will work any competitor's EVF as well. This new camera rig also includes our Z-Focus, lens gears and Zgrips Beefy for infinite handgrip configurations. The shoulder pad mounts directly underneath the camera which shortens the length of the rig and adds to its stability. Simply remove the shoulder pad by flipping two levers and the rig is ready to mount to a tripod. Mount the EVF on the side of the rig by using the included EVF Rod Mount and camera operators can use this rig like a video camera. The Zwiss Plate allows you to mount virtually anything with the provided 1/4 20" and 3/8 16" holes, including professional batteries and the AJA Ki Pro Mini. The batteries and Ki Pro Mini also act as a counter balance weight providing more stability. Like all Zacuto rigs, the EVF Filmmaker Kit is universal and can be used with any 15mm lightweight accessories.
