Asian Hospital Management Awards 2011 to Honor Hospital Best Practices
Singapore, June 24, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Entries for the 10th Annual Asian Hospital Management Awards (AHMA) are now being accepted, with the deadline for submission on June 24, 2011. The prestigious AHMA recognizes and honors hospitals in Asia that carry out best hospital practices. The Awards will be given in a gala dinner during the Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2011 conference to be held on September 8 (Thursday) at the Resorts World Convention Centre, Singapore.
Hospitals from all over the region are encouraged to nominate themselves and enter their successful projects, programs, or best practices. There is no limit to the number of entries per hospital. Healthcare associations, medical service consultants and suppliers, and others in the industry are also invited to nominate hospitals in the Award categories.
The awards categories are: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project, Cost Reduction Project, Human Resource Development Project, Service Improvement for Internal Customers Project, Marketing, PR or Promotional Project, Patient Safety Project, Clinical Service Improvement Project, Operational Customer Service Project, and Bio Medical Equipment / Facilities Improvement Project.
New for the 10 TH YEAR of Hospital Management Asia is the GRAND AWARDfor HOSPITAL OF THE YEAR. The grand award will be selected from the finalists who entered one or more of the other categories this year. (There is no need to enter for this award.)
Hospital Management Asia 2011 is organised by Exedra Events in cooperation with Joint Commission International, Johns Hopkins Medicine International, International Hospital Federation and the Asian Hospital Federation, with the support of the Singapore Ministry of Health and the Singapore Exhibition and ConventionBureau.
