Two Vivint Systems Rated a Consumers Digest "Best Buy"
PROVO, Utah - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Vivint ,
one of the largest home automation companies in North America, announced
today that two of its systems-the Home Automation Package and the
Advanced Security Package-have received a "Best Buy" rating from
Consumers Digest. The ratings will appear in the July/August 2011 issue
of the publication.
According to Consumers Digest's review of Vivint's Home Automation
Package, "No other system that uses a wireless (cellular) transmission
system that's in this price range packs as many security and home
automation components in one package as this package does."
Best Buy ratings are awarded to fewer than three percent of the
competing models in any given industry. A product that receives this
achievement is recognized by the Consumers Digest editors as having
exceptional value in today's highly competitive marketplace.
Consumers Digest Best Buy ratings are based on features including:
-
ease of use
-
durability
-

-

-
lowest maintenance needs
-
easiest servicing
In the case of monitored systems like Vivint's Home Automation and
Advanced Security Package, Consumers Digest also judged home security

"Receiving two Best Buy ratings from Consumers Digest is a real honor,"
said Todd Pedersen, Vivint's CEO. "Every Vivint employee is focused on
