Prisoner Confesses To Shooting Tupac Shakur In 1994
By Robert Paul Reyes
"New York City police have begun an investigation into an online posting supposedly from a convicted felon who claims to have shot and robbed slain rapper Tupac Shakur." Read More
I wouldn't lend to much credence to an online post, anybody can post anything online. I am a frequent critic of Oprah Winfrey, and one time somebody claiming to be Oprah Winfrey posted a comment threatening to chase me down to the ends of the world and kick my behind. The real Oprah wouldn't be able to chase me down for one block.
According to the FBI Web site, a person by the same name as in the post is serving life in prison. I would guess that a prisoner with too much time on his hands used a smuggled cell phone to play a prank. It's a shame that some prisoners have access to cell phones, while many of the working poor can't afford one.
In 1994 Tupac was shot five times and robbed after entering the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan by two men. The rapper was later shot and killed in 1996 in an unsolved slaying. Some mysteries, like what happened to Amelia Earhart or why is Dr. Phil such a bald-headed doofus will never be solved. I'm afraid we will never find out who shot Tupac, simply enjoy his music which will never die.
