Simon Cowell Fires Cheryl Cole From X-Factor
By Robert Paul Reyes
"Cheryl Cole is said to be furious over the humiliation she has been subjected to and has told friends she is through with her friendship with Simon Cowell." Read more
Most Americans aren't familiar with British pop star, Cheryl Cole, but she's England's sweetheart, the equivalent of our own Sandra Bullock or Reese Witherspoon.
Simon Cowell is anathema in the UK for treating the singer, songwriter, model, dancer and model like a dirty rag. Cowell's nasty persona on American Idol wasn't an act, he's an inhuman monster for humiliating the lovely and talented Cole.
Cowell claims he fired Cole because she was uncomfortable filming auditions for the talent show in America. That's patently ridiculous, Cole has starred in a hit reality show in the UK, and she's also in Britain's version of the X-Factor.
Cole is a renaissance woman and she doesn't need Cowell to sustain her career; I hope she doesn't return to the British X-Factor.
I wouldn't put it past Cowell to have hired and then fired Cowell simply as a publicity stunt. American Idol is doing just fine without Cowell, and now with the unexpected success of "The Voice", the British judge fears the X-Factor might be one singing competition show too many.
Express your displeasure of Cowell's behavior by not watching either version of the X-Factor.
