Not So Covert- Media Downplays Obama's Failures
Dear NewsBlaze Editor:
Apparently the sky is not falling. Or so it is that the mainstream media hopes to make us believe. Menacing waters surround our ship of state and no change of course is in site. America nears possible economic collapse as the debt ceiling approaches $14 trillion.
The stock market again falls with news of the unemployment rate rising to 9.1% from 9.0 yet you are hard pressed to find much but scant mention buried amongst general news stories. Only a third of the Obama administrations predicted 150,000 new jobs materialized with Morgan Stanley reporting that up to 30,000 of those positions are flipping burgers with the McDonald's fast-food chain. See back page, column eight.
Now a bi-partisan US House of Representatives is blasting the President for failing to seek approval before deploying US military assets to the conflict in Libya, embroiling us in a third overseas war, voting to give him just 14 days to justify his decision. Hey it made page five!
I for one do not intend on voting for a President who turned an uncertain economy into a deadly morass by spending almost three billion of our tax dollars on his trouble plagued Obamacare package which nobody was given time to read, plus another three billion more on an anemic stimulus bill and millions more on the so-called cash for clunkers.
The patient is dying with an economic Dr. Kevorkian at the helm. We need a new President and a change of parties and we need it ASAP but don't look to the media unless you want to make "ignorance is bliss" your moniker. Too bad media bias seems to have replaced the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
