Big City Moms and TheBump.com Host 9th Annual Biggest Baby Shower

"Big City Moms started this bi-annual event in 2006, when we realized there is so much information and products out there for new parents that it becomes difficult to decipher all of the choices," noted Risa Goldberg, cofounder of Big City Moms. "At the shower, we bring together a well-edited list of the best products and educators in a fun, social environment."

Moms-to-be will be able to meet, mingle and learn from industry experts. Alison Bernstein, Senior Editor of TheBump.com, will share her must-know tips for surviving (and conquering!) mommyhood. Dr. Alan Greene will present a Green Living with Baby seminar, while Dr. Bill Sears discusses healthy eating habits. Ali Wing, the founder of Giggle, will touch upon the topic of baby gear, and Joseph Shamie, President of Delta Children's Products, will offer safe sleeping tips. From birthing to newborn safety, expectant moms will also be educated on all the key areas for life with new baby from companies like Safety First and Healthy Child, Healthy World. Plus, style experts Liz Lange and Jane Wagman of Shopafrolic will be on hand to pamper moms-to-be with massages, skincare by Mama Mio, haircare from Kelly Van Gough and more!

Everyone will go home with products galore and a new Aprica Stroller, valued at $160! After all, no baby shower would be complete without gifts. Brands participating in the event include: Aprica, BornFree, Bugaboo, Delta Children's Products, Mam, Quinny and Skip Hop, to name a few.
