Houston, TX, May 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Jazzy Girls Beauty Boutique is teaming up with The Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure Houston to raise both money and awareness about breast cancer. From now until The Komen Race for the Cure in October, Jazzy Girls will donate 20% of sales from their popular lace wigs (cranial prosthesis) to the foundation. The popular Houston based salon, and lace wig & hair extension brand will kick-off the “iRock My Pink” educational campaign and national tour in support of their efforts in June.

1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer during her lifetime, but thanks to the efforts of organizations like The Susan G. Komen Foundation, there were 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in 2010. Jazzy Girls Owner/Master Stylist CoCo Trayham is very familiar with the realities of this disease, as her boutique is a preferred provider of cranial prostheses and hair beauty services for many suffering from medical related hair loss. “I'm inspired by my clients who are fighting to beat breast cancer. This campaign is my way of honoring and supporting their strength,” Trayham explains.

iRock My Pink is a multi-dimensional campaign to promote both breast cancer awareness and public participation in Jazzy Girls' efforts for Komen. The campaign includes community service, education, and offline events hosted by celebrity goodwill ambassadors. iRock My Pink will also offer interactive options such as the iRock My Pink Virtual Photo Shoot and iRock My Pink Declaration for supporters around the globe.

Voted #1 in Texas by Allure Magazine for quality, knowledge and expertise, Jazzy Girls Beauty Boutique has built a solid reputation as a leader as both a salon and brand in the hair care industry. Their high-end hair extensions and lace wigs sold both onsite and online are a favorite of their global client base, including many celebrities, shipping products as far as South Africa.
