Christians Must Not Be Silent Towards Delegitimizers of Israel

Christian Zionist Janet Parshall delivered her speech when she received the Proclaiming Justice to the Nations' 2011 Ed McAteer Tree of Life Award. In her view, Christians must not be silent towards the delegitimizers of Israel.

Now, more than ever, Israel needs as many friends it can muster and Israel could not have begotten a better friend than Janet Parshall, who is calling to honor Israel, to pray for peace in Jerusalem and to allow viable believing Christians to express their unconditional love for God's ancient children.

The message is simple:

To love Israel and the Jewish people is the mandate of Christian believers who entered into the marketplace of ideas. They need to bring the message of love, spoken with truth on their lips. They need to know the role Jews played, are playing and will play in the course of human history. For Zion's sake, Christians must not be silent. Being silent has deadly results, as we see today. Aneo-Nazi group, in Detroit, is planning a two-day conference, with a rally to follow, outside the New Jersey State House. Recently, a neo-Nazi, in Arizona, was charged with manufacturing homemade explosives. His goal was to maximize human carnage. Last January, a neo-Nazi was convicted for encouraging violence against the foreman of a Jury that convicted a fellow neo-Nazi of murdering a federal judge. Last December, a neo-Nazi was found vandalizing dozens of headstones in a Jewish cemetery near Chicago and last November, a neo-Nazi rally, in Phoenix, turned unto a rock hurling mle. And all this is happening at present in the United States.

The scriptures tell us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So here are some heartless comments. Helen Thomas, former White House correspondence, she said that Jews should get the hell out of Palestine. They should go home to Poland, Germany, America and wherever else. The Congress, White House, Hollywood and Wall Street is owned by the Zionists.

Former Malayan Prime Minister stated that Jews have always been a problem in European countries. They had to be confined to Ghettos and periodically massacres. Even after their massacre by the Nazis of Germany, they survived to continue to be a source of even greater problem to the world. The Palestinian Authority Deputy Minister of Interior even said that the Jews have no historical or religious ties to the Temple Mount or the Western Wall.

There is no archaeological evidence that Temple Mount was built during King Solomon's era. Economist, once set on the German Central Bank Board said that all Jews have certain gene that distinguishes them from all others. Historian who worked for the Lithuanian Interior Ministry said that the Nuremberg Trial was the biggest legal farce in history. The legend about Six Million Jews, supposedly murdered, acquired legal basis even though the court did not have a single document, signed by A. Hitler, concerning the extermination of the Jews.

Oliver Stone said that Israel has fouled up the United States' foreign policy for years. There is a need to look at all that is happening through the lens of the Scriptures: Anti-Semitism is a SIN! Pure and simple! And when one looks at this, one begins to understand the pernicious nature of this SIN. From the moment Cain killed his brother Abel, to Pharaoh trying to imprisoned the Israelites, to watching what was happening with Haman in Persia, to see what took place in Nazi German and Auschwitz and Buchenwald, we, who are spiritualized, have to understand that Satan is afoot and it has tried to wipe out the Jews since the Jews came into being.

There is a simple, but profound, reason why Satan is doing this. It never ever wants the world to know, and remember, the history of God's People because, if that truth is before the world, the world will never know the Messiah is for real.

Therefore, we need to understand that all this is, first, last and always, an ongoing political warfare. Former Condoleezza Rice once said about the conflict the Arabs have with the Israelis: the United States' job is to get the two sides to talk. Yet, the United States has gone far afield from that! Israel's victims of terror do not hate their Arab perpetrators. They just want to live in peace, real peace.

So we have to remember that the prince of peace came out of the seed of Abraham. Therefore, Satan hates the Jews. It is also, first, last and always, a spiritual warfare. As if God changed His mind, out of Christianity, the ugly unconscionable idea of Replacement Theology was born.

If God is the same one of yesterday, today and forever, how could He have changed his mind?! He did not. And in later days we are going to see more and more of this phenomenon. We only have to watch what is going on in the theater of world's stage, from the collapse of Lebanon, the tumult in the streets of Cairo, what is going on in Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Tripoli and Syria, and then be clear that Islam is on the move. Stan is on the move!

But, Jews will never be wiped from the face of the earth and God's people can never be silent on this issue. When people say to divest in Israel or compare the situation in Israel, to Apartheid in South Africa, Christians must first and foremost study the Book, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Because Christians need to study it to show themselves approved unto God, so they know His word, they love His people and know His promises and then articulate them in the marketplace of ideas. Then, taking the mandate that was given to the church, Christians must speak the truth and love.

Christians cannot be quiet. God has had many choices for His chosen children but, in His infinite wisdom, He chose the Jews. And though, in times, Jews feel like saying what Teviah the Milkman-Fiddler On The Roof said, "I know we are the chosen people. But once in a while, can't you choose someone else?" He chose the Jews. And because of what he has done, for Zion sake, we, Christians, will never be silent!

Replacement Theology was introduced by the Church shortly after Gentile leadership took over from Jewish leadership. Its premises: Israel-the Jewish people and the land of Israel have been replaced by the Christian Church, or, more precisely, the Church is the historic continuation of Israel to the exclusion of the former. Therefore, the Jewish people are no longer a "chosen people." In fact, they are no different from any other group, such as the English, Spanish, or Africans.

Apart from repentance, the new birth, and incorporation into the Church, the Jewish people have no future, no hope, and no calling in the plan of God. The same is true for every other nation and group. Since Pentecost of Acts 2, the term "Israel," as found in the Bible, now refers to the Church. The promises, covenants and blessings ascribed to Israel in the Bible have been taken away from the Jews and given to the Church, which has superseded them. However, the Jews are subject to the curses found in the Bible, as a result of their rejection of Christ.
