The TEA Party Movement is Going Strong
TEA Parties are not a partisan group of Republicans whining over the 2008 election. In fact the TEA Party movement is a bi-partisan group of concerned and outraged Americans over the Governments frivolous spending and abuse of power.
The Government quickly dismissed the groups and their mission; however, the power of the People that make up the TEA Party movement spoke in the 2010 election. The TEA Parties successfully changed the power of Congress and evened the power in the Senate.
"We the PEOPLE vote them into office and we the PEOPLE vote them OUT of office when they're not doing a good job" says Matt Bruce in his column.
Bruce also states in his letter that TEA Parties are not going anywhere, instead they are growing stronger. They will continue to monitor the newly elected officials, as well as the ones coming up for re-election in 2012. If they fail to do what we sent them to do, we will vote them out.
Bruce clearly outlines what the TEA Parties across America are looking to accomplish within our Government; such as: protecting the Constitution, reject cap and trade, demand a balanced budget, enact a fundamental tax reform, enforce a fiscally responsible & constitutionally limited government, and repeal and replace government run healthcare, just to name a few.
Those points are part of the "Contract from America", points that must be addressed in order to restore America and fix the problems we are facing.
"Let it be said loudly and clearly that for those Politicians who do not get the message being sent to them by America and the TEA Party Groups, you either do the job you were elected to do OR we vote you OUT!" - Matt Bruce
