Five Pounds of Pot Delivered to Elderly Couple
By Robert Paul Reyes
"Police say an elderly Pennsylvania couple mistakenly received a UPS package containing 5 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $10,000.
Police said the Upper Darby couple turned the package in Thursday after having received it earlier in the week, The Delaware County Daily Times reported Monday." UPI
If I received a UPS package containing five pounds of marijuana by mistake, I would interpret it as God working in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.
I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, and turn the divine package into the police. I'm sure the cops have their own personal stashes from all the marijuana they confiscate.
I would thank my lucky stars, and pick up five pounds worth of munchies from the grocery store.
The elderly couple must feel self-satisfied by turning in the pot to the cops. But they would really be on cloud nine if they had kept the grass and smoked it.
