GhostPlace.com Celebrates 10 Years of Ghost Stories

Orlando, FL, April 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- GhostPlace.com, a paranormal community site, today announced its celebrating its 10th anniversary. Comprised of 13,000 members who enjoy discussing a variety of topics ranging from the supernatural to UFO's, the site now has one of the largest collections of ghost stories on the internet. The site was popular even before ghost hunting television shows became all the rage. Over the past decade the site has been visited by several celebrities, sometimes incognito.

To commemorate its decade of ghost story telling, the site has been completely redesigned from the ground up but don't worry, the entire ghost story archive is still there to be read. The new website features a new interface, graphics and uses the latest web technology. To get the most from the site it is recommended that you use a modern browser.

Some of the new social networking features are tight integration with Facebook and Twitter, and optionally linking your user profile to your Facebook account. A new private message system allows members to have private “conversations” with each other. Status updates on your profile page and a profile wall are reminiscent of Facebook, but the site is absolutely driven by forum functionality.
