PrimeSource FoodService Equipment Signs Strategic Agreement with UPS for Restaurant Chains Worldwide
DALLAS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - PrimeSource FoodService Equipment, Inc., the largest minority-owned
foodservice equipment and supplies dealer in the nation, announced today
the resigning of a second, 3-year agreement with UPS to serve as its
preferred strategic transportation provider. The first agreement, which
began in 2007 and expired late last year, has brought PrimeSource's
services to the next level for its international restaurant clients, and
it set new precedents for an improved foodservice equipment supply chain
overall.
The new agreement with both UPS Package and UPS Freight will help
PrimeSource offer expanded logistics solutions for its multi-unit
restaurant operators around the world, including Church's Chicken and
Yum! Brands' Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC brands, among others. This
agreement fully integrates PrimeSource's day-to-day service model
processes with UPS's worldwide shipping capabilities.
