Stratos Product Development today announced it will exhibit at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Silicon Valley 2011, May 3-5 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.

"We have seen increasing demand for complex embedded systems design as the pace of innovation accelerates," Sean MacLeod, President, Stratos Product Development said. "Keeping up in the new economy requires vision, skill, agility and expertise. Those who will bring the next great products to market face challenges ranging from aggressive development schedules to effectively leveraging their knowledge base and manpower to execute on business strategies. Participating in ESC Silicon Valley aligns with our goal to stay informed, connected and attuned with the innovation curve so as to best support our clients in bringing the next generation of technology to market."

In addition to showcasing full-system product development services, Stratos will highlight services specific to embedded systems engineering including: GUI and software development, hardware interfaces, DSP implementations, sensor systems, electronic controls, low-power wireless, medical device development and industrial design.

ESC Silicon Valley 2011's content and agenda is drawn from recent "Mind of the Engineer" research, sponsored by UBM Electronics, which points to the growing need for engineers to quickly acquire in-depth electronics design knowledge spanning a multitude of disciplines.

In addition to a comprehensive technical agenda and an exhibition featuring the products and services of more than 200 vendors, ESC Silicon Valley 2011 offers hands-on learning opportunities and well-known keynote speakers, including Apple Computer co-founder, Steve Wozniak.
