InfoPrint Solutions Employee Honored With Esteemed M-EDP Recognition at Xplor International

InfoPrint Solutions, a Ricoh company, today announced that its own Carrie Murphy, EDP, was honored at the Xplor International Awards ceremony during the 2011 Xplor International Conference and Forum. She was recognized for her achievement in securing her Master Electronic Document Professional title (M-EDP). Murphy is one of only two people in the United States to receive this globally-recognized achievement.

Electronic Document Professional (EDP) is an industry designation awarded to qualified individuals who have demonstrated broad knowledge of and experience in digital communication-whether in print, over internal networks, or online -- from document creation to distribution. One is granted the title EDP after demonstrating excellence by a thorough examination of his or her work, business ethics, and overall contributions to the industry through a rigorous evaluation process. Murphy has received this distinguished M-EDP recognition as a result of her significant and influential professional experience as an EDP.

Murphy is Market Development Manager for InfoPrint Solutions. She contributes to the rollout of the company's worldwide precision marketing offerings, working with customers to inform, strategize and inspire its concept and adoption. Previously, Murphy worked with DST Systems and DST Output for 16 years, where she built an understanding of transactional production printing. There she created the first customer integrated job instruction system, which not only passed the operational information, but also the personalized content. Murphy is an active member of Xplor and was President for four years. She is also a frequent speaker at its events throughout the year.

Murphy received the M-EDP honor at the Xplor International Awards ceremony on April 7, 2011 coinciding with the Xplor International Conference in Tampa Bay, FL.
