Gotham Talk Radio Highlights Interview with John Catsimatidis

As President, CEO and Chairman of the Red Apple Group, he is also CEO of the United Refining Company. Schwartz & Gerstman asked him about the situation in Libya.

"Our main business is the oil business," Catsimatidis said. "And my opinion is that we never should have gone into Libya. The United States - our country did not need another war. And one of the things about being in the oil business - oil is up to 110 dollars a barrel right now. If Egypt and Libya didn't happen, oil would be 75, 80 dollars a barrel. So no matter what the cost of the war is, the hidden cost that Americans are paying 30 dollars a barrel more for our decision to go into Libya and stir the pot."
