Top Celebrity Choreographers to Launch Production of New Reality Series, "The Business of Dance" With Top Dancer to Receive $250,000

WHAT: NEW TV SERIES LAUNCH, THE BUSINESS OF DANCE. TALENT SEARCH.

WHERE: AUDITIONS TAKING PLACE AT LONG BEACH STATE UNIVERSITY, THE DANCE CENTER (LOCATION: PALO VERDE AND ATHERTON).

WHEN: SATURDAY, APRIL 9, 2011 AND SUNDAY, APRIL 10, 2011.

AUDITION TIMES: 9AM TO 9PM.

Top choreographers are joining together with top businessmen to launch production of a new exciting reality series, 'The Business of Dance'. A cross between 'The Apprentice' and 'So You Think You Can Dance,' the show seeks to discover the number one, professional dancer in America who has a goal to be commercially successful in business. Besides being a talented dancer, each contestant will need to have a unique dance affiliated BUSINESS IDEA.

Like FOX' American Idol, ten finalists will be chosen from around the country via elimination process. Once selected, ten finalists with consideration for the public's opinion and the footage from the weekly business & dance challenges will compete until we have America's Top Dancer with the most innovative Business Plan .The winner will receive an investment package which includes a support network for their BUSINESS IDEA as well as a $250,000 start up capital towards their dance affiliated business plan.

Top Billboard/Grammy Icons have worked with the show's legendary choreographers which include Tim Stevenson aka Mo'at (USHER, JENNIFER LOPEZ, PARIS HILTON), Barry Lather(MICHAEL JACKSON, STING, BRITNEY SPEARS, PAULA ABDUL, JUSTIN BIEBER), and Eddie Garcia(JANET JACKSON, MICHAEL JACKSON, ADAM LAMBERT, PAULA ABDUL, and JLO).

The creators of 'The Business of Dance' series are Harvey Russell( Former Australian Record Label Executive and Music Manager) and Tim Stevenson aka Mo'at. Executive producers are Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva from Eleventh Entertainment.

Open call auditions are set for this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday at LONG BEACH STATE UNIVERSITY.
