Model, Actress Amy Vitale Highlights Wrestling Fundraiser
Future of Wrestling (FOW) will put on "Monarch Mayhem 2" on Friday, April 8 at Monarch High School (5050 Wiles Rd., Coconut Creek). And on Saturday, April 9, FOW will put on "Made in America" at the VFW Post 2500 in Hollywood (814 S. Dixie Hwy.). Both events start at 7:30 p.m.
Headlining the bouts on Friday night will be Billy Fives against Monarch High School football coach Chris "Charger" Cunningham.
On Saturday, The Scum of the Earth will challenge for the FOW tag team title against the winner of The Vandals vs. Midnight Studs match from the previous night. Also, Craig Classic will defend his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title against Chris Jones.
Vitale will lend her beauty, energy and magnetic personality so familiar with wrestling fans to the events.
"This is going to be top-notch, thrilling wrestling," Vitale says. "It will also be great to help out the kids on the Monarch High School football team."
In addition to the wrestling weekend, Vitale says she will be doing an appearance for IDW day at Tate's on Saturday, April 9th (before the FOW show that night) from 12pm-5pm to mingle and take pictures. And to top things off, Amy will be making a special appearance to sign autographs and pose for photos to help promote "Red Angel," the new full-color comic book series whose heroine is based on Vitale's likeness. That event will be on Saturday, April 16 at the Tate's 18th Anniversary Tent Sale. Tate's address: 4566 North University Drive, Lauderhill, FL. For more information, call (954) 748-0181.
